Union is strength is an interesting and moral story. This story is about an old farmer and his sons. His sons used to quarrel among themselves. He always advised them to remain united but they paid a deaf ear to his words. He wanted to teach them the blessings of unity.

Once an old farmer lived in a village. He had three sons. They used to quarrel among themselves. The farmer was much worried about them. Once he fell ill. He sent for his sons. He asked them to bring a bundle of sticks. When the bundle was brought. He asked them to break it one by one. They all tried their best but could not break the heavy bundle. Upon this. The farmer untied the bundle asked each son to break a single stick. In this way, they broke all the sticks in no time. The farmer said, “My sons, remember that united you stand like the bundle but divided you fall like the sticks”.
Moral:
1. United you stand; divided we fall.

Once there lived a poor farmer in a certain village.
The farmer remained worried about them all the time. He always advised them to remain united but they paid a deaf ear to his words. At last, he fell seriously ill. He realized that his end was not far. One day, he decided to reach them with the blessings of unity.

Once a stag lived in a jungle. He was proud and vain. One day he saw his reflection in a stream. He liked his beautiful and strong horns but he hated his thin and ugly legs. One day, the hounds of the hunter attacked him. His ugly legs helped him in running fast. But unfortunately, his horns got caught in the bushes. He struggled hard to release himself but all in vain. Soon the hounds reach there. They fell upon him and tore him into pieces. His thin and ugly legs tried to save his life but his horns that he was proud of brought about his death.
Moral:
1. All that glitters is not gold.
2. Appearance is always deceptive.
3. Pride hath a fall.
For Brilliant Students
Once, a stag lived there in a woody land. He was beautiful incarnate, having smart beautiful figures and twisted horns. The stage was vain and foolish. One day, he felt awfully thirsty. He went to a nearby brook to quench his thirst. The water of the brook was very cold and clear. He drank water to his fill. While drinking water, the stag saw his reflection in the water. He was very happy to see his beautiful antlers and felt very proud of them. When he saw his lean and thin legs, he felt very sorry. He hated his ugly legs. All of a sudden, he heard the hunter’s horse and howls of hounds. He saw a pack of hounds coming towards him. The stag was filled with horror.
He wanted to save his life at every cost. He ran very fast to the jungle to save his life. His thin and ugly legs were a great help to him. They carried him far away from the hounds. He reached a dense part of the forest. There were thick bushes and trees growing in that part of the forest. Unfortunately, his beautiful antlers were caught up in a long bush. He tried his best to get free but all his efforts ended in smoke. Meanwhile, the hounds reached there. His beautiful antlers, of which he was so proud, brought about his death. The hounds fell upon and tore him into a number of the bid and small fragments.
Moral:

Greed is a Curse
For Average Students
Once a dog was very hungry. By chance, he got a piece of meat. He took it in his mouth and ran out of the village. On the way, there was a stream with a narrow bridge over it. When he was crossing the bridge, he saw his own reflection. He took it for another dog with a bigger piece of meat. He decided to snatch that piece of meat from the other dog. So he barked at the dog and jumped into the stream, as soon as he did so, his own piece of meat fell from his mouth and disappeared in the stream. The poor dog had to go home hungry.

3. Something is better nothing.

Once there lived a foolish greedy dog. He was an active, agile, and good-looking dog. He had been cherishing a pining desire for eating fresh flesh. One day in order to materialize his latent wish, he went to butcher’s shop and sat at a safe distance. Finding the chance, he stole a big piece of meat.
He wanted to relish it peacefully. Therefore, he took the decision to go to a nearby jungle. He held the piece of meat firmly in his jaws and began running towards the jungle. To reach there, he had to cross a brook. The water in the brook shone clear like a mirror.
Without thinking for a while, he began to bark at the dog in the water. No sooner did he open his mouth to bark than his own piece of meat fell down into the water. Now his anger knew no bounds. in order to teach him a lesson, he again took an off-hand decision and jumped into the water. When he touched the water, the shadow disappeared.
His enemy’s piece seemed too big to him. But in his anger and greed, he had to lose his own piece of meat also. The currents of stream water floated him like a log.
Moral:
