Nishtar Medical College Introduction
Nishtar Medical College was the dream of Dr. Muhammad Jamal Bhatta who wanted to establish a medical college in Multan. He started the development in 1945 when he gave the idea of Nishtar Medical College to the local government. At the time of Pakistan’s emergence, So it was on the table. After the independence of Pakistan, he felt the need for a medical college and the Punjab government decided to set up a new medical college in Multan. After much hard work, Nishtar Medical College started working in 1951 with 52 students in MBBS class.
